Multivalent Glycan Microarray (MGM) Platform

MGM platform is the unique platform behind our glycan microarray products. Harnessing the power of patented Multivalent Surface Coating (MSC) technology, our glycan arrays have their superior performance. MSC Technology enables 3-dimensional glycan presentation on microarray substrate surface, facilitating multivalent interactions and showing better performance than traditional planar substrates. In addition to our multivalent adaptation of traditional NHS-activated substrates, the multivalent hydrazide substrates can be used to directly immobilize free sugars (glycans with free reducing-end), eliminate the need for tagged glycans for covalent attachment to microarray substrates. In addition, we have developed optimized array manufacturing technology, assay buffers and assay techniques, which can achieve glycan array assay results with higher binding sensitivity and lower background noise.

GlycoSight

Harnessing the power of MGM platform, we developed GlycoSight, a high-throughput screening technology designed to decipher the interactions between carbohydrate-containing molecules and biological targets (e.g., antibodies, viral particles, proteins). GlycoSight uses MSC (Multivalent Surface Coating) technology to generate arrays of glycans and glycan-containing molecules, which allows our customers to fast and accurately identify candidate molecules that have the potential for therapeutics or diagnostics development. The GlycoSight technology is being developed with funding support from a NIH SBIR grant.

Glypertorie

Glypertorie, our screening library, contains more than 1,200 well-defined carbohydrate and carbohydrate-containing molecules. These molecules cover general mammalian oligosaccharides, N-glycans, O-glycans, glycosphingolipid glycans, blood group antigen glycans, glycosaminoglycans, sialylated glycans, bacterial glycans, Human Milk Oligosaccharides (HMO), glycopeptides, and natural polysaccharides. This library is constantly enhanced with new natural and synthetic glycan molecules. Our collaborations with academic leaders in carbohydrate chemistry have contributed hundreds of glycan molecules to the library. The Glypertorie is being developed with funding support from a NIH SBIR grant.
